OK! I am back. Yesterday was pure YUCK! I can definetly say I was eating to fuel my body and not for fun! My body does not like that kind of fuel at all. However I made it through the day, got my workout in, got another workout in at Smoke and Mirrors Fitness, which I love! Amazing work out and so much fun. Check them out on Facebook! So after a long day of YUCK, working out and 3 kids I finally made it to bed with the hopes of waking up to a better number on the scale. I have a goal in mind and I wont stop until I reach it. For the past few years I have put my body on the back burner due to having kids, no motivation and just the lack of will power. I am sick of starting diets on Monday and ending them by Friday. No more comfortable, no more one piece bathing suits, Ya! I said it a one piece! It was a hot one! No more though. I have made the choice to loose this last 15 pounds that has held me back from living my BEST LIFE, I am holding my self accountable to not only myself but to all the readers as well! ha ha like so many people are reading this. Well it helps to think that this blog is overflowing with followers! Ok, I am signing off for the night.
Breakfast: turkey avocado wrap (sounds good but....NO) Not what I had in mind for breakfast!
Lunch: Spinach salad (sounds fine.... Wrong again) I know you love the Shamu plate! We know fine dinning at our house!
Dinner and snack: I didn't take any snaps but again.... YUCK!

Well I made it through the first day. I have to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Let me start out by telling you this Method is all about planning. Taking the time to plan out and prepare your meals,so that you are never left to grab a bag of chips. If you are like me, it may seem impossible to plan things out a day before due to that fact that my life is crazy, never enough time in the day,too many kids, not enough sleep and when it comes down too it I am just not organized! So this is another great reason to start this Method. It forces you to stop and smell the roses, get organized and start eating better! So back to day 1! The meals were super yummy today! Especially the amazing chocolate snack! Who ever thought you could have a 1/2 cup of chocolate chips when your dieting! I have to say I checked the recipe three times just to make sure I wasn't reading it wrong. It taste too good to be sin free! Everything is fresh, clean and very flavorful. I will say its not a whole lot of food, but that's probably the reason I am over weight to begin with. The work out was great and I am feeling refreshed! Ready for day 2!!! I am sure many of you want to know what my body looks like now so you can get a real feel for the before and after! Well just picture this: a mom of three, who gained way to much weight while being pregnant, never lost all of the wight and then got pregnant again to then go ahead and gain another 60 pounds of love! I am sure at some point I will get the guts to post the before for you guys but I guess you will just have to stay tuned to see! See you all tomorrow!
Here are some pics from today! Sorry I didnt get a chance to get a shot of my lunch, ate it toooo fast!!!
I laugh when I see these pics! Being a photographer you would think I would take some better pics! ha ha! Go camera phone!

So a good friend approached me with a challenge here recently, at first I didn't think too much about it. However when she began to start the process and was giving me all the details, I started thinking that maybe she could be on to something. If your anything like me you never want to be left behind on anything. "If your gonna do it, than I am too". No one wants to go to battle by themselves, they need a wing man, someone to call upon when the going gets tough, a friend to share the dreadful long days of limited food and cravings for hot fudge sundaes and chips and salsa. Someone who will remind you in the end "That nothing taste as good as skinny feels". I have always loved that quote. It is so true, no cheeseburger, fries and a coke is worth 3,000 squats!! It's just way to easy to eat than it is to burn off. Why is that? Ohhh the battle against food!So here is the challenge that my amazing friend Heather who I like to call "Hairs" (Its a long story) approached me with:
Give up all things good for 30 days, eat nothing but a bunch of vegetables that I didn't even know exist and work out every day by following the Tracy Anderson 30 Day Method!
I am sure you are saying WOW, can I please be first in line to try that too!!!! Cause that just sounds sooo amazing. I know, I know, your wondering why in the hell would anyone be excited and willing to sacrifice so much just in the name of loosing a few pounds. Well the answer is... I love a good challenge, I need to loose some extra weight, eat healthier and lastly just to top it all off I will be heading to Las Vegas in about 30 some days!! (that might be the real reason) Regardless I said YES and I never back down to a challenge! So I have decided to keep a blog of my journey to help me stay on track. Here you will find a day to day journal of the 30 day TAM challenge I will be facing. The ups, the downs, the carrots, the broccoli and all the in between. I hope you stick around for motivation cause trust me I am gonna need it!
Tonight is the night before the Battle starts! I am ready! I spent all day shopping for food with names I hardly understood, I stocked my fridge with everything from the list of foods, prepared my meals for day 1,took my measurments and finished reading the book. I hope I can make it through the day!
Here is my promise to myself:
I promise to give my best effort for the next 30 days - to abide by the Tracy Anderson Method.
I promise to workout every day and follow her workout regimen
I promise to be positive and stay motivated each and every day
And when its all said and done I promise to love my body for who I am. ( and also a night out with the girls and a hamburger) ha ha
My fully stocked fridge! I know there are a few deadly sins still in there but I have kids and a husband who have to eat too!
